I dismissed this movie altogether when I saw it starred Owen Wilson. Not because I disliked Owen Wilson, but because I was, for the time being, disinterested in “his type of movies.” A week ago, an acquaintance mentioned it, highly recommending and he seemed to have good taste in literature and movies, so I rented it from a RedBox. I must say, it was good. Romantic, and it made me yearn for that romanticism. And for Paris. And for the twenties. Marion Cotillard is beautiful and talented. As do I love the lovely Rachel McAdams. I was also pleasantly surprised by the appearance of Kathy Bates and Adrien Brody.
You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” Steve Jobs

(Poema de Amor XX)
I can write the saddest poem of all tonight.
Write, for instance: “The night is full of stars,
and the stars, blue, shiver in the distance.”The night wind whirls in the sky and sings.
I can write the saddest poem of all tonight.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me…
I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.
